£100 Gift Voucher For Indies At August’s Exclusively Show

Entertaining at home has become one of the ongoing trends of the pandemic, with people enjoying cooking, baking and eating together at home more regularly – both indoors and outdoors –  rather than eating out at restaurants. They are therefore looking for ways to enhance this experience, both for themselves and their friends, through investing in lovely tableware, glassware and cutlery, with gift-led tabletop, cookware, bakeware and kitchen items currently on point for many gift givers and receivers.

With this year’s live Exclusively Show returning to London’s Business Design Centre on 24-25August, independent retailers, to include gift retailers, can not only claim back up to £50 worth of travel expenses, but could also potentially benefit from an extra bonus – the Exclusively £100 Gift Voucher – if they are members of the British Independent Retail Association (Bira).

All independent retailers who are members of Bira will receive the voucher when they book in to attend the show. Once validated at the Bira stand, the voucher can be used towards any single order with a minimum value of £300 minimum (net VAT), placed at Exclusively.  The voucher will be accepted by all Exclusively exhibitors.

As regular visitors will know, trends are always a major focus at Exclusively, with Steve Richardson, marketing manager for BHETA (the British Home Enhancement Trade Association, which owns Exclusively), explaining: “an exciting ‘must’ for all retailers is the opportunity to preview the key trends in colour, materials and products for Christmas 2021, 2022 and beyond.  The inspirational product displays, trend talks and tours from trend forecaster Scarlet Opus are hugely popular, and while on trend products are featured throughout the show, nothing beats seeing the full story in the Trend Hub.  The display makes it easy for buyers to understand what will be on trend ahead of visiting supplier stands to source the products.”

Will Jones, BHETA’s chief operating officer, adds: “The Exclusively Show is always an exciting event with its positive, friendly atmosphere and its reputation for predicting commercial opportunities very accurately.  With this being the first opportunity for people in the industry to gather in some considerable time, the 2021 Exclusively looks set to be especially popular.  Safety for exhibitors and visitors is, of course, paramount, which is why we have elected to invite buyers and media from the UK only for this year.  We are also working closely with the venue to ensure that all guidance is followed to the letter.”

The event will host over 130 exhibitors and feature some 200 brands.
