How would you sum up this July’s Home & Gift?

“It was a really lovely show for companies to bring their customers to. We upped the experience with a Tropicana theme in the marquee area at The Majestic, with flamingos, pom poms and flags also decorating the Home & Grill. In addition, there was a van serving glasses of Pimm’s and prosecco, as well as an ice cream seller, and stripy deckchairs to relax in, which all really added to the Harrogate experience.”

What was your criteria?

“We set out to embrace what people love most about coming to Home & Gift in Harrogate, while at the same time, expanding the buying opportunities with five new curated show sectors, and bringing back some great brands to the show to include Libra and Pacific Lifestyle. We wanted to put on a great show, and for exhibitors to get a good return on the event.”

What was your own personal show highlight?

“I loved seeing everyone letting their hair down at the post show party on Monday evening! It was held at the Revolucian de Cuba on Harrogate’s Parliament Hill, and with its Cuban theme, it really defined the spirit of Home & Gift this year.”
