The Giftware Association’s Meet The Buyers Event Invitation

There’s just seven days to go to the latest Meet The Buyer event, organised by The Giftware Association, which will be taking place on Friday June 8 at the GA’s HQ in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter.

Open to GA members only, attendees will be able to showcase their products to a team of buyers from John Lewis, led by Sara Allbright, buyer for Gifts and Candle shop; Oldrid’s buying manager Laura Wilson, and Michelle Smamos, buyer for Unique Items.

A new focus this time around will be a Meet The Buyers panel discussion where GA members will be able to learn more about the buying process for each of the stores, to include what the buyers are looking for and how to approach them. Guests will also be given an opportunity to ask the panellists questions.

Last month, The Giftware Association took its popular Meet the Buyer event on the road to the Tillington Group of Garden Centres in the Lake District, where suppliers presented their products to buyers from 10 Tillington garden centres.
