Cyclists Line Up For The 325 Mile Light Fund Challenge

Today sees some 70 new and experienced riders taking part in the Light Fund’s 2018 epic charity bike ride, where they will be cycling the 325-mile Bristol to Dublin challenge in aid of industry charity The Light Fund.

In addition to the many well-known names in the licensing industry will be Ian Hyder, joint managing director of Max Publishing, publishers of Progressive Gifts & Home, and Anthony Temple, managing director of Rainbow Designs.

Comments Ian: “Not many people ride from Bristol to Dublin because there are so many hills. Although I ran the London Marathon to raise funds for the Light Fund a few years ago, training for the 2018 charity bike ride has definitely been tougher!”

The Challenge takes place over four days, finishing on Friday June 15, with the aim being to raise at least £150,000 for the charity – more than doubling the most raised for a single event in its history.

The industry has been generous in pledging their support for the riders. To support Ian, visit  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ianhydercycles
