Gift Shop Celebrates Its Third Anniversary At New Outlet

Having reached their third milestone anniversary, Greats-award winning gift shop Mooch Gifts & Home in Stourbridge on Severn owners Jon May and Luke Jacks are gearing up to celebrate the occasion with their customers.

“We will be doing money off ‘spend’ voucher on the day, and a promotion on Facebook,” explains Jon. “We will also pop the champagne corks and have plenty of celebratory cake on hand for our customers!”

The new outlet is owner-occupied by Jon and Luke, with Jon confirming that it has been very busy since it opened having recently relocated from its previous rented premises in the town.

“We’re 150% up year-on-year based on May’s figures,” he confirmed. “It’s hugely reassuring for us that we have made the right move and we were right in buying the premises.”

Plans are afoot for a huge refurbishment this summer, starting with the top floor in July, with Jon and Luke also looking for a bigger premises for their second gift shop in Bewdley which they’ve had for two years.

Mooch Gifts and Home was the winner of The Greats 2018 Independent Gift Retailer of the Year – Midlands and Wales category.
