Forbidden Planet Celebrates 40 Years

Pop culture retailer Forbidden Planet is currently marking its 40th anniversary with a host of activities. They include a special range of souvenir merchandise featuring the classic Brian Bolland ‘People Like Us’ artwork. Products include a tote bag, coasters, mugs and T shirts.

The original store, on London’s Denmark Street, was one of the first in the UK to stock movie merchandise, and has become renowned for hosting signings with some of the greatest names in comics, books and film to include Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Stan Lee and Neil Gaiman.

Forbidden Planet’s London megastore is the largest cult entertainment store in the world.
