Calling All British High Streets

Following the launch of the Great British High Street Awards 2019, the search is on for the Champion and Rising Star High Streets, with an opportunity to win up to £15,000 as a contribution towards a street party, community initiative or sustainability programme.

The organisers are looking for the UK’s best High Streets with exceptionally strong local communities who are leading the way by providing exemplary customer experience by successfully transforming for the future through new technologies and digital connectivity, as well as having excellent sustainability and environment programmes, and revolutionary innovative initiatives demonstrating fresh thinking and challenging convention.

In the Rising Stars categories, the organisers are looking for up-and-coming local communities who are on their way to transforming for the future, putting in the hard work and commitment to overcome barriers and evolve.

Eligible organisations include Business Improvement Districts, local authorities, town teams, community groups, trading associations and groups of five or more independent businesses, to include gift shops, who each have up to four stores.
