IFL Science Joins Half Moon Bay’s Gifting Portfolio

Licensing Link Europe has secured a licensing deal with Half Moon Bay and its subsidiary publishing house, Ice House Books, with the company planning a IFL Science branded gifting range that will include ceramics, glassware, bags and kitchenware, reflecting specific themes to include chemistry, space and Save the Planet.

Products in development include clipboards, pencils, aprons, oven gloves, water bottles, travel mugs, ceramic mugs, LED lamps and drinking glasses, with the range launching in Autumn/Winter 2020.

Half Moon Bay will also be launching a series of IFL Science-branded gift books for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter 2020, which although light-hearted, will be underpinned by scientific fact.

“IFL Science themes and ideas translate perfectly to giftware and gift books,” confirms Half Moon Bay’s design manager Gemma Swift, “and we’re delighted to be working with this funny, clever and original property.”

IFL Science began life as a Facebook blog, started by founder Elise Andrew in March 2012, to share her passion for science and to make science accessible. It has gained a global reach across its different channels of more than 120m people.
