Talented Spotted Awards Finalists Announced

The Spotted Award is always a highlight of Top Drawer, revealing exciting new talent and showcasing a diverse array of market ready-brands that will be a first-time view for buyers.

The eight brands who will be going forward to the final judging – based on originality and innovation, commercial viability, clarity of brand and communication of message, as well as the quality of the design – are:

Be For Change (BFC); (upcycled leather goods); Good & Craft (sustainable, eco friendly fabrics); Kind Bag (reusable bags); Londe Botanics (vegan skincare products); Lost Guides (travel guides);Panda Parker (limited edition artisan products to include homewares to fashion accessories); Sarah Dunbar (faux leather pouches, coin purses and tote bags); Tatie Lou (Shibori textiles and homewares) and The Fox in the Attic (embroidered toys).

This year’s judging panel for the Spotted Award AW19 includes: Rosey Blackmore, merchandise director for TATE Enterprises; Emily Cuthbert, head of product for Wolf & Badger; Sam Hood, founder and creative director of Amara; Henrietta Klug, buying and merchandising director at The Conran Shop;  Molly Woollett, assistant buyer lighting, John Lewis; Charlotte Abrahams, Spotted curator and writer, and Alejandra Campos, show director of Top Drawer.

The winner and two runners up will be announced ahead of the show, which takes place at London’s Olympia from September 8-10. All shortlisted brands will be showcased at the entrance to the Spotted zone in Pulse at Top Drawer. Visit www.topdrawer.co.uk
