Small Is Beautiful At Reckless Designs

It has been a busy couple of years for Forest of Dean based pottery Reckless Designs thanks to supermarket chain Morrisons revamping their cafés across the UK and putting Reckless Designs’ brightly coloured, funky teapots centre stage. So far, 8,000 teapots have been delivered to 527 stores.

Each teapot is handmade, hand painted, glazed and fired ready for shipping by Kevin Burke, owner of Reckless Designs, and his right hand person Jacqui who has been painting pottery with Kevin for 21 years. Weekly shipments have been made to Morrison’s cafes ranging from Aberdeen to Penzance.
