With entries arriving thick and fast for The Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2020, the competition is gathering pace, with international award-winning comedian, writer podcaster and host Stuart Goldsmith compering the Awards event at London’s Honourable Artillery Club (HAC) on Wednesday May 13.
In addition to his stand-up credentials, recent years have seen Stuart build a reputation as a highly skilled interviewer and host. His insightful, inspiring The Comedian’s Comedian podcast shines a light on the creative secrets of his fellow comics, and is loved by comedy fans, performers and the industry alike. An impressive roster of guests have included Jimmy Carr, Tim Minchin, Russell Howard, Sarah Millican, Al Murray, Ross Noble, Tim Vine and David O’Doherty.
Having been introduced to the Edinburgh Festival originally as a street performer, Stuart has since performed multiple critically acclaimed sell-out shows at the Festival as well as several UK and international solo stand up tours.
He continues to build his audience internationally, performing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Stuart says he’s looking forward to celebrating with the gift industry, as well as finding out who the winners of The Greats 2020 Awards are on Wednesday May 13.
