The Greats 2020 : In conversation with category sponsor Joe Davies

Joe Davies’ sponsorship of The Greats Gift Retailer Awards goes back 17 years, with the company’s sales manager, David Cree, explaining why sponsoring a Greats category each year is so important to the company.

“We are very proud to have been a sponsor of The Greats Independent Gift Retailer of the Year – North & Northern Ireland category for some 17 years, as it is an important part of our commitment to being the champion of the independent retailer,” explains David.

3-DAVID CREE“At Joe Davies, everything we do is focused on the independent retailer. From our ‘little and often’ buying quantities, to our range of over 10,000 items and our low minimum order value. The independent retailer sector drives the whole industry, and their hard work, innovation and creativity makes the gift sector the dynamic marketplace that it is.”

Continues David: “As a company, we believe The Greats Awards are an event that we, as gift suppliers, can show our appreciation for the hard work that independents put in to making their business a success. All the nominees are first class businesses at the top of their game and we applaud them all.”
