Cardology Pops Up At The Gift Awards

With less than two weeks to go to The Gift Awards, taking place at London’s Royal Lancaster hotel on 12 May, handmade 3D pop up card company Cardology have been busy putting the final touches to the menu cards which the company has designed and supplied to mark this very special occasion.

“The idea of bringing The Gift Awards together with the Greats inspired us enormously,” highlights David Falkner, director of Cardology. “We can’t wait for the chance to celebrate with the cream of UK retailing, as well as our fellow publishers, designers and manufacturers, and recognise the ground-breaking strides we’ve each made to bring ever-improving products and experiences to consumers.”

Continued David: “This being Cardology, you can expect a bit of retail theatre to feature prominently, as the design team, led by Kripa Shah, have leant heavily into the theme of celebration.”

Kripa describes being inspired by the rich, regal blue and gold tones that feature within both award logos, and which also feature in the decorative schemes of the most opulent suites within the Royal Lancaster – the venue for the Awards.

“From what could have been a quite traditionally masculine design start point, Kripa has weaved in more feminine accents and flourishes throughout the design, themselves a nod to the diversity within this year’s finalists, and which make UK retail the exciting, dynamic industry it is,” explains David.

“Finally, no party would be complete without glitz, glitter and fizz, and the final Cardology design captures all of these, to make for a keepsake card, as well as an evening, that will no doubt live long in the memory.”

The winners of the inaugural The Gift Awards will be announced at London’s Royal Lancaster hotel on 12 May. At the lavish awards event, both gift product excellence and retail prowess will be recognised and rewarded.
