Go La La! Partners With Earthly For A Cleaner World

Humorous gift soaps and greeting card company Go La La!, a finalist in three Gift of the Year 2023 categories – Beauty, Bath & Spa, Ethical & Sustainable and Home Fragrance – is proud to showcase the company’s green credentials.

“We’re thrilled to have teamed up with Earthly to become a climate positive team,” Go La La!’s co-owner, Laura Kavanagh, told GiftandHome’s sister publication PG Buzz. “We are directing money from sales to support two incredible projects which will help us balance our impact while protecting biodiversity and supporting communities.”

The company’s new partnership with Earthly is supporting Eden Reforestation Projects’ work in Madagascar which has reforestation and poverty alleviation at its heart, along with a project in Keo Seima which focuses on stopping rapidly increasing deforestation in Cambodia while helping gain land rights for the Bunong People.

Recyclable paper soap packaging is sealed with biodegradable stickers made from sugar cane, and cards have no gloss laminates, flitter or foiling, and are only supplied naked, nested with envelopes and paper-banded in sixes.

In addition, the Go La La! office is powered by green energy and all printing is on carbon-neutral presses using vegetable-based inks. The company also works with UK-based businesses and recycles business waste or donates it to the local Scrapstore. “What we’re putting out there is as clean and green as an organic cabbage rinsed in a natural spring,” says Laura.

The company won a Gift Of The Year in 2020 for their Filthy Gorgeous soaps, with Laura and co-founder John Higgins ensuring that their soap products are vegan, cruelty-free, made with natural ingredients and no palm oil, also, that they are plastic-free and have biodegradable packaging.
