Trade Counter Distribution: Why We’re Backing The Gift Awards

In the first of a new series of interviews, Colin Bottle, managing director of Trade Counter Distribution, which is sponsoring the Gift of the Year’s Commemorative, Collectable and Charitable category, reveals why continuing to sponsor The Gift Awards is so important to the company.

“This will be the second year that Trade Counter Distribution has sponsored and supported Gift of the Year/The Gift Awards and we are delighted to be involved again to help recognise the innovation, creativity and sheer hard work that has been put in by so many in the industry,” comments Colin. “We are particularly excited that it will, once again, be at a traditional awards ceremony. Hard work deserves recognition but also the opportunity of a bit of fun!”

Continues Colin, “We may be at the ‘boring’ – but essential! – end of the industry, but, of course, we hope to increase brand awareness through involvement in the event and raise awareness of our company and its services among a targeted audience. Trade Counter Distribution has been providing accurate and reliable third-party logistics from our warehouses, close to the port of Felixstowe, for many decades. We have a range of customers from across the gift industry, many of whom we have worked with for many years. We provide bulk storage and order pick, pack and despatch, plus a range of ‘added value’ rework services.”

Looking ahead to what’s in the pipeline, Colin comments:  “As the company moves forward in 2023 we are looking to expand our customer base further into new areas of the wider gift community, as well as investing in additional space and systems to support this.” Visit www.tcd-orderfulfilment.co.uk
