Potters Crouch Expands Its Production Facility

For the first time in many years, Potters Crouch Candles is unfortunately going be a ‘no show’ at Home & Gift this July, with  chairman David Brown explaining: “Our last financial year was our most successful ever and, as a result, we are taking on additional production capacity at a new location.

“The old head office will remain, and nothing changes from the customer perspective, but the additional production facility will enable us to meet the growing demand.  July will therefore be occupied with moving and setting up.”

Adds David: “We are very sad not to be at Harrogate this year, but we are going to need every spare body to make sure the new production is set up effectivelyand is running smoothly before we hit the peak production and selling season in August-October.   Add to that some new products, as well as training new staff, and we had to make the tough decision that we simply couldn’t fit the Home & Gift Fair in this time around.”

However, David is hoping that if the move goes well, he can slip away for a day or so to pop in to see how things are going. “Meanwhile, we know the new facility will allow us to meet growing demand, and we look forward to being back in the old routine next year,” he confirms.
