The Art File Adds Plush To Its Portfolio

With plush becoming an increasingly popular category in giftware, Spring Fair, (2-5 February, NEC), will see the official launch of The Art File’s 3D cuddly, sustainable character Bear, (hall 3, stand P11), the newest product extension for the greeting card publisher whose Bear greeting card range won an award at The Henries last year.

“Our new plush Bear is a product we’ve been planning for several years,” explains The Art File’s managing director Ged Mace. “The Bear collection is very popular and has already translated well on to the other products.”

Explains Ged: “The whole process of creating a 3D product from a 2D image has been fascinating. We soft launched Bear plush at Top Drawer this month and it was a delight to watch our customers pick the bears up and to not want to put them down again!”

A small and large Bear will be unveiled at Spring Fair, with sustainability at the heart of the new range. From the outer fabric to the inside stuffing, all Bears are made from 100% post-consumer waste recycled plastic bottles. They are being trucked overland into the UK, rather than brought in om container ships, for a more carbon-neutral transport process.

Bear plush joins The Art File’s calendars, playing cards, extended stationery collection, new greeting cards and wrappings.
