The Meg Hawkins brand has been shortlisted a finalist in the Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand category at the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards, (B&LLAs), which take place at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on Thursday 24 April.
“When I first started in licensing, I didn’t have a set plan, but I knew I wanted my art to go beyond just prints,” explains Meg. “With our in-house product ranges and the incredible partners we’ve worked with, the brand has truly come to life. Each collaboration has played a part in shaping who we are today.”
The company’s first licensing venture began with Christmas giftwrap eight years ago, evolving into a prominent name in the world of art-led licensing.
The brand now boasts over 1,000 licensed SKUs and more than 500 of its own products, sold internationally. Over the years, Meg has collaborated with over 20 esteemed licensees, each contributing their unique touch to the brand’s creative journey. From homeware to stationery, confectionery, and more, these partnerships have helped expand the brand’s reach and influence.
The recognition at the B&LLAs Awards places Meg Hawkins alongside some of the most renowned names in the industry, including Ed Hardy, Emma Bridgewater, Matthew Williamson, and Sara Miller London. “Being included in this prestigious line-up is another milestone for the brand,” says Meg. “To be named as a finalist alongside such legends is an honour. It’s a wonderful reminder of how far we’ve come and how much more there is still to achieve. We’re just getting started and will keep walking this exciting path.”
In addition, the brand has been announced as a finalist in the Best Small Business category of the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards 2025. The category celebrates excellence in innovation, sustainable growth, staff wellbeing, and a deep-rooted commitment to doing business responsibly and creatively.
“This year’s competition was the toughest in the past 25 years for the Best Small Business category,” emphasises Meg. “It therefore makes the recognition even more meaningful for myself and the team. Being selected as a finalist is a true testament to the dedication, passion and hard work which the team bring to every part of the business.

“There are so many brilliant small businesses throughout the Shropshire countryside, so to be recognised as a finalist for Best Small Business truly means a great deal to us. It’s an amazing moment for our team.” Fellow finalists in the category are: E4 Environment; Preloved Tech and Shropshire Festivals.
She continues: “We’re looking forward to an evening of celebration, community spirit and recognition for the outstanding businesses that make Shropshire such an inspiring place to be.”
