As Spring Fair came to a close yesterday, (February 9), six long standing exhibitors – Candlelight, Davies Products, The Libra Company, Powell Crafts, Swift Imports and The Art File – were delighted to celebrate their milestone anniversaries with a bespoke cake presented by members of show organisers the Hyve Group.
Two companies, Candlelight and The Libra Company, are celebrating 50 years, with Powell Craft and Swift Imports celebrating 60 years, while Davies Products is celebrating 75 years. In addition, greeting card company The Art File is celebrating 25 years.
“It’s very humbling to be part of an industry and an event that combines so much shared history,” commented Spring Fair’s event director Dan Mayhew. “So many businesses have exhibited at Spring Fair since their inception and have lived and breathed the show ever since. We are delighted to celebrate their milestone anniversaries with them and look forward to many more in the future.”
Added Julie Driscoll, divisional managing director, Spring Fair & Moda: “it’s been a truly extraordinary four days at Spring Fair. We’re so pleased to be able to report on such overwhelming success stories and to hear the brilliant feedback from our visitors and exhibitors.”
