A Trio Of Nominations For Wrendale’s Hannah Dale

Wrendale Designs’ founder and creative maestro, Hannah Dale, is in the running for three categories at the National Business Women’s Awards: Business Woman Of The Year Medium (£10m-£25m turnover); International Woman’s Award, and the Northern England Business Woman Of The Year.

The Awards cover 21 categories with the aim of raising the profile of industrious, hardworking, enterprising business women nationally, with the category winners announced on 15 November at the Hilton London in Wembley.

“I am honoured and humbled to have been nominated for the National Business Women’s Awards on behalf of Wrendale, and so delighted to have been named as a finalist in three categories,” enthuses Hannah. “I’m so proud of the amazing team we have and I know we wouldn’t be getting any of these accolades without every one of them. I have everything crossed for the awards in November and hopefully will do them all proud!”

Over the past decade, together with her husband Jack, Hannah has built the business from their farmhouse kitchen in Lincolnshire to a turnover of more than £15m, starting out with greeting cards and expanding into gifts and homewares, with collaborations including ceramics for the Portmeirion Group.  In 2019, Wrendale received a Queen’s Award For Export. Two years later, Hannah was awarded a NatWest Everywoman Award, given to the most inspirational woman running a business trading from six to nine years.
