After more than eight weeks in lockdown, Stoneglow is among the gift companies confirming that the company is looking forward to re-opening its production facilities in June.
Explains Stoneglow’s commercial director Louise Dooley: “Many of our customers have continued to operate, and we have had a skeleton staff ensuring that orders continued to be delivered. We have continued to support trade customers from our stocks who have been able to trade online, ranging from the smallest retailer through to Britain’s favourite department store. Every week we are seeing many more of our customers reaching out, which is such an amazing and positive outcome.”
She continued: “In the last two weeks, many of our export markets are waking up for our core businesses, and with the garden centres now back, we are planning to re-open production in June while monitoring the government guidelines, and ensuring the safety of staff and customers.”
Stoneglow hopes to continue to recall employees as the company’s order book returns to normal.
