Arran’s ‘After The Rain’ Celebrates 20 Years

This week saw Arran Aromatics – currently celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary – return to Home & Gift, Harrogate, after a lapse of five years. “We wanted to create a little bit of Arran at Harrogate, where we launched Christmas lines, to include an Advent Calendar,” head of wholesale Rachael Robson-Green told GiftsandHome.net

Among the products taking pride of place on the stand was After The Rain eau de toilette, which is currently celebrating its 20 year milestone birthday, remaining the company’s most loved product.

“Out of all our bath, body and fragrance products, After The Rain remains my absolute favourite and I always have some close to hand – the cream especially is always in my handbag,” revealed the company’s founder and creator of After The Rain, Janet Russell. “Initially, we offered it as a one-off collection for Christmas, but demand became so strong that we kept it going, with more products added to the collection. We could never have imagined that its popularity would endure for 20 years, or that it would become such an iconic signature fragrance.”

More exciting news for Arran Aromatics is that, to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary, Janet has been interviewed for a special Channel 5 documentary, where she will be speaking about the business’ heritage.

It will be shown later this year, focusing on a behind-the-scenes look at how the company started and how it has evolved.

All products are inspired by the natural scents of Arran.
