Ashleigh & Burwood Advances The Company’s Global Expansion Plans

Steve Lloyd has joined Ashleigh & Burwood as the company’s new international director. The company says that it’s a pivotal role created to spearhead the organisation’s ambitious global expansion plans, with the creation of the international director position signifying Ashleigh & Burwood’s commitment to fortify its global presence and uphold its position as a leader in the industry.

As the company continues its drive for growth and success in the home fragrance industry, it recognises the importance of developing a robust international strategy to extend its reach to new markets and cater to a diverse clientele worldwide.

“We are thrilled to welcome Steve to our team as our new international director,” states Ashleigh & Burwood’s ceo Jed Kenrick. “His extensive knowledge and proven expertise in international markets make him the ideal candidate to lead our global expansion efforts.”

In the new role, Steve will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive international business strategy, to maximise potential in existing overseas markets as well as establishing the company brands in all EU markets, Australia, North America and other markets in Asia outside of Japan.  Working closely with the export team, his objective is to lead and develop the team to global success.

Steve brings a wealth of experience to the role, having an impressive track record in driving international business growth, including a significant leadership career at Boots The Chemist, developing new international markets in Europe and Asia, and as ceo of North America prior to and into its merger with Walgreens in the USA.

He joins Ashleigh & Burwood from British brand Baylis and Harding where he led significant International growth in over 50 countries, but especially in the US, where he navigated and led through the impact and opportunities of both covid and Brexit.

With Steve Lloyd’s appointment, Ashleigh & Burwood affirms its commitment to providing customers worldwide with home fragrance across the company’s The Scented Home and Ashleigh & Burwood brands.
