At The Heart Of Art

Colchester Zoo was the winner of a prize draw held on the Widdop and Co stand at Spring Fair last week, with the prize a limited edition signed print by the award winning nature artist Meg Hawkins, which she kindly donated.

“There couldn’t be a more perfect winner, could there?” commented Widdop director Stephen Illingworth. “Meg’s work, inspired by wildlife and nature, on display in a zoo. We hope Colchester give it pride of place.”

The framed zebra watercolour reflects Meg’s unique style, which recently saw her win the Best Home, Gift and Clothing Products category at the Glee Awards, followingher recent foray into giftware for Widdop.

Working in collaboration with the company, Meg’s work is currently available on a licensed range of home accessories and gift items, ranging from cushions and mugs to wall art.
