Autumn Fair To Debut Children’s Fashions

Following the recent closure of the childrenswear trade show Bubble London, Autumn Fair (September 2-5, NEC) will be extending its Children’s Gifts, Toys & Gadgets showcase to include fashion.

“Childrenswear suppliers and retailers have faced challenging trading conditions of late, but the market is still forecast to grow significantly in coming years,” says Louise Young, managing director, Spring & Autumn Fair. “Those companies that react to changing consumer expectations and deliver products that are on-trend will succeed in growing their market share. Bringing childrenswear exhibitors and buyers together will only help facilitate success, and drive innovation.”

She added that while Bubble London had played a pivotal role in the sector, retailers are currently diversifying by offering a variety of product categories aimed at different age demographics. “Whether it be for children or for teenagers, gifting children’s clothing and accessories is a key area of sell-through for retailers,” she stated.
