British Garden Centres, the UK’s largest family-owned garden centre group, has strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of Hayes Garden World. The company now operates 73 centres nationwide, with eight stores joining the business since the beginning of the year.

Hayes Garden World, which has evolved from a small nursery into one of northern England’s key garden centres, will take the name of Hayes Garden Centrehonouring the reputation of the family-owned business. The site will remain open while undergoing a brief transition period for rebranding and restocking, and the existing team will be retained.
