Nine scented candles, along with key rings and a star wall art piece, were launched earlier this week.

“We love Frida Kahlo’s art and spirit and feel that both she and her work fit in extremely well with our brand,” says Flamingo Candles’ managing director Ryan Francis. “We’re very excited to be collaborating with such an inspirational icon and want the products to be a talking point by reflecting Frida’s passion, optimism and courage.”

The launch of the candles ties in with the Frida Kahlo Making Herself Up exhibition at the V&A, which closes on November 4.

The licensing deal was secured by Art Ask Agency.
