Buyers were out in force as Spring Fair 2020 opened its doors yesterday (Sunday February 2) with exhibitors looking forward to unveiling their brand new collections for Spring/Summer, and many reporting a very positive day.
Among the companies celebrating milestone anniversararies was Parlane, exhibiting in The Summerhouse. “It was good to see so many customers come to see us on the first day of the show to help us to celebrate our 50th year,” commented Chris Lewis, head of sales. “We’re showcasing 50 new products – one for every year we’ve been in business – and we also have Christmas on the stand for the first time at Spring Fair. It’s been a showstopper.”
Also enjoying a very special year at the show this year is T&G, with the company celebrating 45 years. “We started out as a woodware company, and have transformed into a lifestyle brand with quality and beautiful design at the heart of everything we do,” enthused head of marketing Jenny Handley.
Meanwhile, The Music Gifts Company is celebrating the company’s 25th milestone anniversary. “It’s been lovely to welcome old faces to the stand, as well as seeing some new ones,” said managing director David Gee.
Making a personal appearance on the Candlelight stand was designer Katie Alice who was there to unveil her range of candles and reed diffusers. “Home fragrance is very important to my own home and I’m delighted to be launching my own range for Candlelight. My inspiration comes from my love of vintage, and it was lovely to see the designs on the new collection of products and how they relate back to the company’s current collections.
Spring Fair is currently taking place at the NEC until Thursday February 6.
