Following on from the success of the Manchester Furniture Show at Harrogate’s Home & Gift last year, coupled with the rapid growth of the homewares sector, this July’s show, taking place from Sunday July 17 – Wednesday July 20, will see the debut of the Furniture Collection which will be taking over both Hall Q and the Kings Suite at the Harrogate Convention Centre.
Other key sectors include General Gift, Home & Interiors, Jewellery & Fashionand the Food Emporium, with the addition of a curated product selection in Design-Led Gifts.
Across the show, some 800 brands will be exhibiting, to include Joe Davies, Enesco, Gallery Direct, Wild Things, Hot Tomato, Best Kept Secrets, VENT for Change, Marmalade of London, Carrie Elspeth, Wrendale Designs, Reeves and Reeves, Sea Gems, Talking Tables, Caroline Gardner and Roka.
“Visitors always appreciate discovering newness at our events, and the show’s rapid expansion, coupled with the introduction of an additional Design Point marquee, has enabled the team to put a significant emphasis on this for 2022,” comments Home & Gift’s show manager David Westbrooke.
Continues David: “Over 30% of the exhibitors this year are brand new to Home & Gift, including The Vintage Garden Room, Butterfly Fashion, Designworks, Opinel and Ohh Deer. In addition, we have a host of suppliers returning to the show that weren’t with us in 2021, to include Richard Lang & Son, Jellycat, Belly Button Designs, Kikkerland and Enesco, along with hundreds of brands that are here every year that our retailers know and love.”
A new networking platform, Browse & Meet, gives buyers the opportunity to see new products in advance, enabling them to create their own Product Wishlist. Buyers are also able to message companies and request appointments with exhibitors on site.
Networking opportunities include the Sundowner drinks on the lawn on the first night of the show (Sunday July 17), as well as happy hours which will take place throughout the event.
