Crumble & Core Launch A Range Of Fridge Magnets

The latest addition to Crumble & Core’s jewellery cards and greeting card ranges are fridge magnets, with retailers able to buy them individually or attached to a card. “They have a premium feel but at an affordable price,” says Crumble & Core’s director Louise Pike, “making lovely keepsakes.”

Louise told GiftsandHome.net: “We didn’t set out to do magnets. The request came from one of our bespoke artwork customers, Salisbury Cathedral. Five years ago, Crumble & Core’s artist Jilly Mercer was commissioned to paint the historic cathedral to celebrate its 800th anniversary. Footfall at the cathedral is substantial, but they also have many people who only come to visit the bustling gift shop and café.”

Adds Louise: “We created a range of cards and gifts for them which has grown over the years, with Salisbury subsequently asking us to extend the range by creating a range of fridge magnets featuring the cathedral, as they are the most popular souvenirs. They also asked for a range of magnets featuring our Adorable Animals designs, and so the magnet range – which is produced in East Sussex – was born.”
