Designed & Made in Britain Showcase at Giving & Living

The 60th anniversary edition of Giving & Living, which takes place from 12-14 January at Westpoint in Exeter, will include its strongest ever Designed & Made in Britain showcase, featuring a host of artisan makers from around the British Isles.

Organisers Hale Events highlight that for buyers whose ethos is focused on supporting the heritage of the UK, and local, more sustainable producers, this sector of the show is sure to be a main attraction.

The Designed & Made in Britain sector will offer new products across a wide cross-section of categories, ranging from candles, jewellery, skincare, fine art prints, greetings cards and home textiles to glasswork and pewter.

“Nurturing brands, companies and products that are Designed & Made in Britain is an essential component of our work as a trade show,” comments Mike Anderson of show organiser, Hale Events. “Not only is supporting more sustainable homegrown brands desirable from an ethical perspective, and in terms of preserving circular local economies, it is also what retail buyers and their customers are crying out for.

“Our country has an incredibly rich pool of design talent, and we are proud to offer them an effective and affordable platform where they can reach a strong and diverse audience of independent retailers and important leisure and heritage destinations,” continues Mike. “We are delighted that so many British makers have chosen to join Giving & Living in our 60th year and greatly look forward to seeing them inspire visitors with their latest creations.”
