Emma Lawrence Designs Partners With Marie Curie

Emma Lawrence Designs has partnered with Marie Curie for the first time, to create a range of giftware that includes a large hessian bag, a water bottle, bamboo plant pot, gloves, a glasses cases a coffee cup and a lunch bag.

Emma highlights that she was keen to incorporate the charity’s iconic yellow daffodils, and to include a celebration of other British flora and fauna.  “I worked with the colour palette of Marie Curie’s new brand guidelines to ensure the designs coordinated well with their logo,” she explained. “There are blue tones within cornflowers, bluebells, green alkanet and forget-me-nots, while the native British wild daffodils, with their trumpets of yellow, are shared by the sunshine tones of Verbascum, St John’s Wort and Chamomile. Among the designs there are also bees, butterflies and hoverflies, bringing the designs to life,” she adds.

“The product looks amazing and I can’t wait for it to hit stores,” commented Marie Curie’s Dani Loftus, head of trading. “As soon as the range arrived, it flew out, with customers commenting on the pretty designs, and several items selling out.”

Adds Emma: “To work for such a great charity who have produced a range of such wonderful quality has been a joy.  Nature is therapeutic and healing, my drawings are full of love and care, therefore providing the perfect fit for Marie Curie.”
