Feel The Love

This Sunday, (September 22), is the start ofthe sixth Thinking Of You Week campaign, an annual greeting card sending initiative organised by the Greeting Card Association (GCA), which made its debut in 2014. The promotion runs until September 28, with gift shops, as well as greeting card retailers, taking part.

The concept behind the initiative is to create a wave of happiness and caring through sending greeting cards, with the Royal Mail again producing a Thinking Of You Week postmark as well as running a social media campaign linked to the initiative.

“Thinking of You Week attracts more and more retail involvement each year,” confirms the GCA’s ceo Amanda Fergusson. “Retail promotions have highlighted the opportunity to send a card to someone you care about, just because, to share a joke or beautiful image, or just to say ‘Thinking of You’.”

During the week, those taking part are being encouraged to share photos, videos and stories via social media using the hash tag #Thinkingofyouweek

Thinking of You Week has now become an international event, held in the USA and Australia, as well as other large card sending nations.
