“What we’re looking for are the gift shops and gift departments who stand out from the crowd,” explains Progressive Gifts & Home/GiftandHome.net’s editor Sue Marks. “We want to know what shops have done over the past 12 months to up the ante and encourage new business. We also want to know about initiatives, outstanding displays, charity work, involvement with the local community etc.”

For retailers wanting to bang the drum about exceptional members of staff who go the extra mile, or the suppliers that provide the best service to independent gift retailers, email: ianh@max-publishing.co.uk
