In her role as the ceo of the The Giftware Association, the Creative Industries Association, the JDA and the BTAA, Sarah Ward will be attending the next Bank of England Genesis Initiative meeting at the end of March, with members of the GA invited to share their views enabling Sarah to present them to the committee.
The Association is asking its members for their views about their key priorities, concerns, and policy recommendations ahead of the upcoming Election.
“Post the Spring Budget, this is an opportunity for our members to ensure that we have a clear understanding of what they face in their business, and what changes they want to see moving forward,” says Sarah, who has played a key role over the past six years of The Genesis Initiative meetings. “They have discussed the threats and opportunities to SMEs in the ever-changing socio-political climate, and their direct access to government and policy-makers means that the voice of our members really can shape change for our industry.”
Continues Sarah: “Gathering this information allows us, as an Association, to effectively advocate for our members’ interests and shape their positions accordingly.”
