Karen Lucas, Stoneglow’s Gift Agent of the Year in 2016 and 2017, is getting married to Jeff Parker today (July 20) on Concorde! The wedding will be taking place at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, with Karen hot footing it from Stoneglow’s stand at Harrogate’s Home & Gift show earlier in the week to get ready for her big day.
“Brooklands is the home of Concorde,” she explained to GiftsandHome.net, “and we have a family connection through Jeff’s father and grandfather. The wedding will be a unique experience for our families and close friends, as I will be walking down the aisle on Concorde to marry Jeff. After we have said ‘I do’ and signed the register, we will be doing it all over again on Concorde’s flight deck.”
Afterwards, the new Mr and Mrs Parker will be holding their wedding reception in the Bluebird Room at the Museum. “Naturally, we’ve chosen Stoneglow’s new Infusion Joyous candles to fragrance the room, as not only does the name Joyous sum up the day perfectly, but the candle vessels are blue so they perfectly fit the décor of the room!”
