Among those showing their appreciation for the NHS is charity sector worker Rebecca Broad, who is providing a boost to people putting their lives on the line for others each day. She came up with the idea of ‘pamper boxes’ and has been gathering gifts and other products that will be gifted to NHS staff to help to raise morale.
“I originally started with 100 boxes, but having received messages from NHS staff, I have been totally humbled and inspired and am now looking at around 400+,” Rebecca confirmed. “Boxes can contain homewares, beauty, art, fashion and confectionery. I want the boxes to be able to appeal to all NHS workers so that they can find something they really enjoy in there.” Email Rebeccabr92@outlook.com
“Rebecca reached out to us recently and we have already contributed 200 Earth Secrets scented tin candles,” confirmed Ashleigh & Burwood’s PR manager Deborah Bettinson. Other gift companies that have donated products include Oliver Bonas.
Also creating the feelgood factor for key workers have been Tracey and Chris Bryant, co-owners of three gift and card shops, Expressions, in Swindon, the Cats Whiskers in Bishops Cleeve and Polkadot in Keynsham, with the couple putting together two pamper packages.
“They will be sent as a small thank you to the amazing staff of two cares homes that are close to our hearts,” confirms Tracey. Visit #thankyou #keyworkers #weappreciateyou #amazingcarers
In addition, the couple have also launched a Make Their Day initiative on social media. “Over the last few weeks we have had lots of requests from our lovely followers asking us to put together some gift packs that can be sent directly to the recipient. With that in mind, we have been doing our own luxury Make Their Day gift sets, which start at £25,” Tracey told GiftsandHome.net. “Plus, to celebrate the launch, we are offering one set free to someone who has been chosen by one of our customers.”
The winner, who will be selected at random, will be able to choose any of the Make Their Day gift sets up to the value of £50.
