Gisela Graham: Why We’re Backing The Gift Awards

Continuing our series on companies that are sponsoring a category at The Gift Awards, Piers Croke of Gisela Graham, which is, once again, sponsoring The Greats Awards Best In Store/Window Display category, reveals why sponsoring a Greats category is so important to the company.

“Among our customers is Mooch, winner of last year’s Greats Awards ‘In Store/Window Display’ category, which has stores in Bewdley and Stourport-on-Severn,” explains Piers. “The stores are well known by locals and those that shop there. So what’s the secret of Mooch’s success? ‘Display,’ say co-owners Luke Jacks and Jon May. There’s always something new and topical in their windows across seasonal and special occasions that include Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.”

Continues Piers: “Mooch’s philosophy is exactly what we’re trying to encourage as sponsors. As the high street declines, gift shops have the means to liven it up with charming, people-stopping displays – oh, and to make money!  We spend a lot of time and money on display in our showroom, because we know that a bauble on a rack is just a bauble, but put it on a tree and it’s suddenly magic!”
