‘Greats’ Media Success For Huus

Following the news last month that they had been shortlisted in The Greats 2019 Best Newcomer South & Wales category, gift and lifestyle shop Huus, based in Halesworth, has had a great response to the shop’s PR campaign.

Explains co-owner Jane Dekker: “The East Anglia press responded very positively and included articles online and in print. It was great to be able to combine such a positive message about The Greats Awards, and independent retail businesses, when the high streets are being painted in doom and gloom.”

Jane continues: “We’re hoping to get some extra coverage in the local monthlies which will help to drive footfall around the coming Easter weekend, and we will be continuing to use the messages in our own social media activities running up to the Awards in May. We have also let all of our suppliers know, thanking them for their great products and service, and we’ve received very positive responses back wishing us success.”

She adds: “The Greats are a fantastic opportunity to be recognised for our work in starting a new business and to allow us to maximise PR opportunities to strengthen our brand awareness.”
