Have You Completed Progressive Gifts’ Retail Barometer Survey?

What was independent gift retail really like in 2024? Gift indies are, once again, invited to ‘tell it like it is’ by completing Progressive Gifts & Home’s 19th independent Retail Barometer survey. “We urge all indies to participate,”says Progressive Gifts & Home’s editor Sue Marks.

Independents who sell gifts are invited to take part to help paint an accurate picture of trade throughout 2024, as well as their predictions for the year ahead.

“It’s the only annual survey that delves into the trials, tribulations and triumphs of independent gift retail, and we very much need the support of gift independents to be able to paint a true picture of the sector,” states Sue. “With 18 years of data on which to draw, we can share a better understanding of the changing gift and home retailing landscape.”

The survey, CLICK HERE, is open for submissions until midnight on Monday 24 February.

Respondents can complete the survey all in one go or return to it later using the same device. Questions cover everything from serious business issues to fun stuff.

The collective findings will appear in the March/April 2025 issue of Progressive Gifts & Home. Answers will remain confidential.
