With an added ‘live’ judging day, an awards ceremony and a celebratory dinner on the Sunday of Autumn Fair – September 1 – the event is undergoing a complete makeover.

“We are expanding our judging panel and adding a shortlist to our judging process so that winners will have even more prestige than usual,” explains The Giftware Association’s PR and marketing manager Chris Workman.

This year’s categories feature: Fashion Accessory; Fashion Handbag; Fashion Jewellery; Luggage & Travel; Made in Britain and Small Leather Goods.

Adds Chris: “anyone can enter the competition, whether they are a member of the BTAA or not. Companies can nominate a product for as many categories as they like, or enter the same category with as many products as they choose.”

The Giftware Association will support entrants throughout the process, celebrating both nominations and the companies who have been shortlisted.

The BTAA awards were established in 2015 to celebrate innovation in fashion accessories, luggage and leather goods industries.
