Ashleigh & Burwood’s wildlife-inspired Wild Things collection of luxury home products and fragrances was the inspiration behind the company’s decision to collaborate with UK based charity The Big Cat Sanctuary* which works to save some of the endangered animals that inspired the collection’s vibrant, quirky designs.
The Big Cat Sanctuary, who recently starred in the BBC documentary series Big Cats About the House, will receive 5% of profits from sales of Wild Things new jaguar design: Born With Cattitude.
To tie in with the charity initiative, Ashleigh & Burwoodwill also be running a ‘big cat’ themed selfie competition which will run throughout Autumn Fair (September 2-5 at the NEC, Birmingham).
“We’re inviting visitors to our stand – P50-Q53 in Hall 3 – to enter by posing for a selfie in a special area dedicated to our new Born With Cattitude Wild Things design,” PR manager Deborah Bettinson told giftsandhome.net
“We will have a selection of fun big cat themed props to get creative. Selfies shared on social media with the hashtags #BornWithCattitude and #GivingBackToNature will be entered in the competition, with the winner selected from entries received throughout the show. One lucky winner, will receive an indulgent, supersized prize of a Born With Cattitude 700g luxury scented candle worth £90, while four runners up receiving a Maya plush cat.” Winners will be notified via social media after the show.
Launched in 2017, Wild Things is a collection of luxury scented candles and reed diffusers featuring bright, animal designs surrounded by fauna on ceramic vessels. The collection aims to capture the spirit of the natural world and has expanded to feature key designs on newly added accent cushions, notebooks and supersized products.
The Big Cat Sanctuary, trademarked by the Wildlife Heritage Foundation, is based in the heart of the British countryside, and provides a peaceful home for over 50 endangered big cats.
