Home & Gift: Trio Of Top Trends Unveiled

Trendspotters at Harrogate’s Home & Gift, running until 24 July, have been heading to a special feature in the front of Hall M, created by The Better Trends Company, where the leading trend predictions for 2024 are being showcased for the autumn/winter season – Sunset Haze, Comfort Food and Woodland Picnic – across key pieces, patterns and colours.

> Woodland Picnic is an eco chic trend inter-twining wild flowers with forest folk and luxe picnic escapes.

> Comfort Food focuses on food and fun.

> Sunset Haze reflects the essence of a Mediterranean escape.

“New for autumn/winter is Woodland Picnic, with Summer Haze transitioning into this trend with muted pastels layering on top of terracotta and other rich earthy tones,”

The Better Trends Company co-founder Louise Healy told GiftsandHome.net.“Comfort Food meanwhile, celebrates the human touch of everyday. It’s very grounded, celebrating small moments and the beauty of the mundane. It’s got a very ‘80s feel, recognising nostalgia.”

The Better Trends Company has also designed Home & Gift’s look and feel this year, reflecting a ‘sun chaser’ theme centred around summer heat, al fresco dining and summer days.

Home & Gift is taking place in the grounds of the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate, and in the Harrogate Convention Centre.  The show runs until 4pm on Wednesday July 24. Visit www.homeandgift.co.uk
