Launching Christmas In June

With gift suppliers gearing up to showcase their new Autumn/Winter collections, Scottish gift agents Lucy Sharp and Darran McBride are already thinking ahead.

“We’ve just launched Christmas at our Sharp and Easy showroom and we’ve got lots of upcoming ideas as to how to keep things fresh, interesting and really useful for customers,”Lucy told GiftsandHome.net

Key gift brands participating include Abrams and Chronicle (which now includes Ridleys, The Games Room and Petit Collage, acquired from Wild & Wolf at the end of last year), Caroline Gardner, Cole and Co, Kikkerland and Talking Tables. Visitors can look at current and upcoming product releases, as well as discuss bespoke projects.

Since launching the showroom at 525 on Ferry Road, (the HQ of a former bank), Lucy enthuses: “We’ve had a great reaction and have decided to extend our initial run.  Customers have been so pleased to be able to peruse multiple gift brands in a lovely environment that’s easily accessible and with plenty of hospitality to keep them fed and hydrated!  The feedback has really been incredibly positive. A priority for us was to find a large space, where there was plenty of room for distancing.”

She added: “We stagger arrival times and limit the number of bookings in any one day.  Each customer has their own designated seating space, where they can enjoy unlimited refreshments, lunch, and have space to work. We also have a temperature gun available on arrival, lateral flow tests should people wish to do one, and plenty of hand sanitiser.”

Opening hours are Mon-Friday, by appointment, 9am-8pm, with Saturday appointments also available shortly.  Contact Lucy at: lucy@sharpstuff sales.com or visit @sharpstufflife to view the booking form.
