Letterbox Love’s Place In The Sun

The sun was definitely shining for Kerry Bilson, director and founder of Letterbox Love, last Saturday (12 April), when The Sun newspaper carried a ‘Going For Gold’ feature on the jewellery company Kerry founded with her husband Liam during the pandemic in 2020, a follow-up to an earlier article featured by the newspaper in 2022.

“We were absolutely thrilled with the story!” a delighted Kerry told GiftsandHome.net. “We reached out to the writer, Becky Pemberton, the same journalist who kindly featured us three years ago. We wanted to share how far we’ve come since that original story – from sending out bracelets from our lounge floor during lockdown to celebrating five years in business and seeing our products stocked nationwide, reaching a huge milestone with a nationwide rollout into Clintons stores.”

Kerry continued: “Becky was genuinely interested in our journey and the milestones we’ve hit, and felt it was the perfect time to do a follow-up piece, especially as it’s our fifth birthday next week.  It’s been such a boost for us, particularly after a challenging couple of years for small businesses. We’ve navigated rising costs, operational challenges and constant change. So, to now be celebrating our fifth birthday, as well as being featured in the national press, and seeing our bracelets on the high street, feels incredibly special. We’re so grateful to everyone who’s supported us along the way. To be recognised within the industry like this is a real ‘pinch me’ moment.”

Another big highlight for Kerry has been being asked to design the tickets to The Gift Awards on 15 May.

Explains Kerry:We wanted every guest to receive something that would feel more like a keepsake than a card, with all the fabulousness and theatre of a Bridgerton, fairytale style royal invitation but with a Letterbox Love twist.”

She added: “It was really important to us that the design reflected both the prestige of the Awards and the emotion behind what we do.”
