Make-Your-Own Tatty Teddy

Next month, Carte Blanche Greetings and Build-A-Bear Workshop will be unveiling a new collaborative teddy bear, bringing the Me to You brand to Build-A-Bear Workshop stores across the UK in the form of a Make-Your-Own Tatty Teddy.

The venture, which kicks off in mid-November, is a first for the UK, and will enable guests of Build-A-Bear Workshop not only to create a Me To You Bear but also, to add their own personal touches. The bear will also be available online at buildabear.co.uk.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Build-A-Bear Workshop, who have strong synergies with the Me to You brand in giving generations of customers the opportunity to imagine new ways for kids to experience a world of wonder and stories by creating furry friends that can be loved and cherished always,” says Carte Blanche Greetings’ head of licensing Sarah Quigley.

Roger Parry, senior managing director for Build-A-Bear Workshop in Europe, adds: “The iconic Tatty Teddy story and character have been beloved by fans for decades. We are honoured to partner with Me to You – who brought this character to life – to introduce a Make-Your-Own Tatty Teddy to the UK for the first time, and just in time for Christmas.”

Guests who visit selected UK Build-A-Bear Workshop stores on weekends in November and December will be able to participate in in-store Tatty Teddy events, including Tatty Teddy costume character visits and activities. Fans will also have the opportunity to win Me to You and Build-A-Bear Workshop prizes.

Further information will be shared via Me to You social media channels over the coming weeks.
