Making Their Debut At SPOTTED

Almost 40 young entrepreneurs will be heading for the Autumn/Winter edition of SPOTTED, a ‘must see’ zone at Top Drawer, say organisers Clarion Events, which takes place at London’s Olympia from September 9-11.

2-TOP DRAWER LOGO - BETTER VERSION logo“Top Drawer refreshes its offering every season by incorporating new concepts and segments,” says Top Drawer’s event director Alejandra Campos. “The launch of new initiatives across the show, together with our well-established new talent area, SPOTTED, is part of our commitment to promote and support start-ups and new designers – the young entrepreneurs of today are the elite of tomorrow.”

Among the talented line-up of SPOTTED exhibitors will be stationery designer Ben Langworthy, leather bag makers Hirsch & Kirsch, home accessory designer Kesemy Design, giftware company Hashtag House, wellbeing brand Aequill, fashion brand Alice Acreman Silks and Danand, a pop art and design collective.

In the Home category, companies exhibiting include Denim & Bone, Sand & Sushi, Danad, Finfo Designs, Cheskie, Hevensent, Katie Victoria Brown and Emma Vincent, with children’s items on display from Ferrar, Coin It and Rose May Bears.

For the second consecutive year, the Spotted Award will bereturning to Top Drawer, judged by a panel of industry professionals. The Award is given to the three most original, best designed and most promising brands at the showcase. Prizes include a free stand at Top Drawer Spring for the winner, as well as a series of mentoring sessions with key designers, retailers, brand consultants and PRs for the three finalists.

SPOTTED is a curated showcase of new, innovative, market ready, design-based businesses which, over the past eight years, has helped to launch more than 200 small businesses.
