Among the celebrities at this week’s dedicated greeting card show PG Live will be restaurateur, chef, cookery writer, novelist and Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith.
Prue, who will be at the first day of the show on Tuesday June 4, will be on the Ling Design stand (204) to unveil her first-ever greeting card collection. Reflecting her iconic culinary career, each card features a colourful foodie theme, with a unique corresponding recipe from Prue on the back.
The new licensed card range has been produced in collaboration with Prue’s friend, the artist David Hawson. The greeting cards feature David’s vibrant watercolour art showing favourite food ingredients to illustrate their shared passion for food and colour.
Prue – who will be on Ling’s stand from late morning – enthuses: “I’m so excited to learn what the card industry thinks of our collaboration and look forward to seeing the range at PG Live.”
Visitors can also enter a prize draw on the Ling stand to win a signed copy of Prue’s recently launched cookery book, ‘Prue, My All Time Favourites’– which again features David Hawson’s artwork.
The Ling Design signing is part of Prue’s new licensing programme, which kicked off earlier this year with a calendar and diary from Portico Designs and confectionery from House of Sarund.
Among the celebrities on the second day of the show will be multi-award winning fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, who will be meeting visitors on the Museums & Galleries stand from 10.30am-11.30am (stand number 218).
Over 230 companies will be exhibiting at PG Live which takes place onTuesday June 4 and Wednesday 5 at London’s Business Design Centre.Visit www.progressivegreetingslive.com
