More ‘Greats’ Responses From Greats Winners

“Over the moon” and “overwhelmed” are just some of the many heartfelt comments received by GiftsandHome.net as Greats winners continue to share their excitement in being recognised and rewarded at last week’s Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2019 which were held at London’s glittering Grosvenor House.

“We were very thrilled that John Lewis & Partners was called out as the winner for Best Department Store retailer of Gifts,” enthused Rosy Bick, partner and assistant gift buyer at John Lewis & Partners.“Over the past year, we have worked very hard to transform our gifting offer, and we were very glad to see that it is paying off.”

In Thornbury, Tabi Marsh, co-owner of Papilio at Heritage exclaimed: “We’re over the moon! We’ve been overwhelmed by the comments on social media, the emails we’ve received, as well as by the reactions of so many excited customers.”

Also still pinching herself is Carol Bairstow, owner of Pure Inspiration in Ramsey, winner of the Best Display award:“What a feeling! We’re super proud!”

There was excitement on the service side too, where winners of the silver award for Best Service To The Independent Gift Retailer were Widdop and Co. “This is a great achievement and one that is very much down to the great support from all our customers as well as our fantastic team of staff,” enthused Widdop and Co’s sales director Andrew Illingworth.
