New Community Development Team For Spring & Autumn Fair

Following the recent launch of Spring & Autumn Fair’s new meetings programme, Connect @ Autumn Fair, a dedicated community development team has been announced, led by community development director Laura Rae.

The team will be focused on developing relationships with buyers to improve their buying experience at the shows, kicking off with Autumn Fair (3-6 September, NEC), which will be offering an enhanced opportunity for buyers to find the right products and brands for their customers.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the vibrant and dynamic retail sector, and to have the opportunity to enhance the visitor experience at the upcoming Autumn and Spring Fairs,” said Laura, who has worked in project management in the events industry for over a decade. “Our team is committed to innovation and development, with a goal of making it easier than ever for visitors to meet their buying needs and strengthen their relationship with the show.”

Magda Musial has joined as community development manager, having worked in global events for the last ten years in both marketing and operations roles, where she held responsibility for managing the experiences of different stakeholders and customers.

Amanda Kendall has also joined as community development manager, and brings with her over a decade of experience in the events industry. She has worked in community management in several industries and has held several roles within events.

For the first time in Autumn Fair’s history, buyers will have access to detailed information on all 600+ exhibitors before the show opens with the ability to search and filter them by the criteria that is most important to their business. This includes searching by product type, sustainability accreditation, minimum order value, carriage paid etc.

Buyers can request 15-minute meetings with exhibitors, and exhibitors can request meetings with buyers All meetings take place on  exhibitor stands so that buyers can see and feel products.
